Senior Friendship
Days
This large group from
all over the community gathers in Horton Hall each Thursday at
9am for crafts, refreshments, conversation, a program, occasional
class opportunities, exercise, lunch, a song fest and dance. A
one dollar donation is requested fort he hot lunch and an occasional
small fee may be collected for craft materials. Contact the church
office at 925-5924.
Social Seniors
This group gathers
each 4th Wednesday (3rd Wednesday in November and December) at
noon in Horton Hall for a covered dish luncheon, devotional, program
and fellowship. Programs include: group sharing, bingo, readings,
and information sharing. All seniors are welcome to join. One
dollar is collected each meeting and is used primarily for gifts
in honor of or in memory of members. Contact the church office
at 925-5924.
Koinonia Klub
Begun in 1995 for those
55 and above (I.D.'s not checked) this group is primarily a travel
group. One day trips and occasional longer trips are announced
first to members and then available spaces are open to anyone.
Fun and fellowship through travel is this lively group's purpose.
