Chancel Choir Wednesdays at 7:30 (This group sings for the 11:00 service each week, occasionally singing for special services at 8:30 and other times. This group focuses on anthems and service music in an ongoing process that includes special music for Lent and Easter as well as cantatas for the 4th of July and Christmas)Sanctuary Choir Sundays at 8am (This group sings for the 8:30 service and is an Adult group of folks who enjoy getting together and singing traditional hymns in harmony, meeting just for a half hour a week before the Sunday service).
Westminster Bells Sundays at 5:45pm (This group plays roughly quarterly in services, some here at WBUMC and others out in the community.)
Lessons These free music lessons are for adults involved in any of our ensembles (could even be a good reason to join!) and are designed to build knowledge and confidence in any aspect of music. There may still be a slot available; ask me!
Church Band Wednesdays at 5pm (Have an instrument in your closet? Come join us in this introductory meeting to set our schedules and get acquainted.)
The Light Ensemble Tuesdays at 5:30pm (Currently a flute, cello, bass and piano. If you have a lighter sounding instrument and enjoy chamber music, this might be the perfect match.)
As with all our ensembles, we would love to have you come and join one (or more) of them. Though I am admittedly biased, I think the folks who make music together here are a wonderful group and you would enjoy becoming a part of our choir family.
Feel free to contact me at music@wbumc.org if you have any questions. Blessings, Ronn
